WALK IN THE LIGHT AND SEE THE WHOLE  PICTURE.

Linda is a professional and well established, now a Welsh based artist with a worldwide reputation. She has been painting since her early teens and has always won art competitions at school especially subjects on nature. She has exhibited her work as a solo artist for many years all around the U.K.. Initially trained in figurative art in Hampshire and privately taught by a tutor from the Winchester school of art with a first class honours degree , therefore portraits are her speciality. An extremely versatile artist she works in many mediums but water-colour is a favourite. Influenced by the old masters such as Vermeer and Rembrandt Linda paints in many layers to create a life-like painting with depth and an almost three dimensional look. The essence of spiritual quality magically captured in her subjects which range from Native Americans to buildings, boats and the Cornish sea and landscapes and prehistoric sites etc.  Linda has always loved the supernatural quality of Cornwall and has been associated with this ancient and beautiful land all her life and has lived in Cornwall now for about twenty years working as a full time painter and gaining much inspiration from the natural enviroment. Among her many clients that have bought her work are famous actors and actresses such as Edward Woodward and Helen Baxendale. Often painting around the local area such as Padstow Linda meets many people who buy her artwork and who take it back with them all over the world . Linda has now relocated to the stunning west coast of Wales which is also a place of beauty and Celtic influences and surrounded by nature and wildlife.
